Zonnique Pullins Talks Her Eyes, Mugshot & New Music On Wendy Williams
Zonnique Pullins was on the Wendy Williams show along with her mother Tameka “Tiny” Harris, but she got to share a little bit of her own life.
As you all may know, Zonnique used to be the lead singer for the girl group OMGirlz, but she has since moved on and is doing her solo thing. Signed to her mother’s record label, Pretty Hustle, she’s recently dropped her first EP Love Jones and it’s topping the charts.
During her visit on the Wendy Williams show, Zonnique dished on changing her eye color like her mom, her mugshot and her music.
Peep excerpts from the interview below:
On changing her eye color:
I got them when I was 18 maybe 19 though. I fell in love.
Tiny: I couldn’t stop her. I told her to wait to see if I go blind and she was like I’m going.
On her relationship with her biological father:
I actually have a really good relationship with my dad. I talk to him every single day. So, we have a really great relationship. We don’t see each other much, but we have a great relationship.
On being caught with a gun at the airport:
You know… I had been telling myself all day do not forget that it’s in your purse and I had a really late flight. So I still forgot. I know it’s terrible. I didn’t even think until she looked at me and was like “can I get your purse” and she gave it back to me. Then she was like “can I get your purse again”, then I was like OMG… Throw it away, throw it away. I’m done with it. She was looking at me and I didn’t even say anything. I was like ‘oh I’m in trouble’.
On her EP Love Jones:
There’s five songs. You get a little snippet of who I am as a solo artist. I used to be in girl group. It’s my solo project and I’m really talking about the ups and downs of relationships.
