As most of you know, I have been on a weight loss journey since around this time last year. I’ve had my ups and downs, slips and falls, but I’m so serious about losing all this extra weight and am on a mission to do so by this time next year. Another year is almost gone and I’m down to the wire. I realized that once September was coming to an end that I only had about 90 days left to drop a large amount of weight before I bring in the new year.
As of today, I am starting my own personal 90 day challenge because I have a lot of goals i mind that I want to reach before 2012 is over. One of my goals is really to lose a significant amount of weight and if I get to that goal by a certain time, to take myself on a trip for new years to celebrate. I know it’s going to be a lot of work, but I’m seriously ready to put in the work because I went out with my friend this past weekend and I was really feeling all cute and sexy then I started to look around at some women that were around my size and was thinking to myself “do I look like that when I walk and in my clothes?” Although I have been very confident all my life as a thick girl, I’ve seriously gained entirely too much weight and it’s time to shake it not only just because I want to look good, but to continue to live a healthy life. I’ve noticed since my weight has rose, so has my blood pressure and I am not trying to fall victim to a stroke or any other health issues for that matter.
So today, I’m beginning my 90 day challenge which will bridge over into the new year, but I”m looking forward to tackling my first 90 days. I will definitely keep you all posted. I will also post before and after pics at the end of each month.
