It’s like the TV GAWDS are answering my prayers. A while back, I did a post asking whatever happened to all the good sitcoms like Good Times, The Cosby Show and Martin because I don’t know about y’all, but I can live without another reality show coming on, like seriously!!! Well the TV GAWDS have been listening and realizing that sitcoms are truly missed and now they are bringing them back.
Y’all remember Will Smith’s movie Hitch, right? If not, lemme refresh your memory… It was the movie where Will Smith plays a date doctor Alex Hitchens is “The Date Doctor” who helps men to land dates all while chasing this chick Sara is a gossip columnist for a New York City tabloid. Ummmmkay!!! Well, former “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” is bringing that movie to Fox as a comedy series.
EW has confirmed that Fox is developing a comedy series based on 2005’s Hitch,starring Will Smith and Kevin James. The half-hour, single-camera series is being described as “a workplace comedy that explores dating and sexual politics.” Will Smith and Jada Smith will executive produce alongside Deborah Kaplan and Harry Elfont, who will write the script, and Overbrook Entertainment’s James Lassiter and Caleeb Pinkett.
