I have never seen so many people hate on Tiny until she hooked up with T.I. over 10 years ago. Most people look at her and think “how did she snatch him” or “why did he choose her” and I’m thinking to myself… WHY NOT?

I had a chance to meet Tameka “Tiny” Harris a few times around Atlanta and she’s genuinely a sweet person. I was even in Walmart years ago when she was pregnant with her Major and she was chatting it up with one of employees in the freezer section with her daughter Zonnique by her side. There were no body guards or anything around her and she was out in the middle of the night shopping for groceries for her family, big belly and all.

I’ve never understood why so many people talk bad about her and say mean things to her via Twitter or anywhere because it’s obvious T.I. made his choice, and a good choice at that in choosing his wife. As I watch T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle each week, I see more and more why he chose her over his other baby mamas because there is something truly special about Tiny.

First of all, she comes from a solid family background. Her mom and dad have been married for many, many years and are still together til this day. Even though her dad is suffering from Alzheimer’s, her mom is still right by his side taking care of him. They have a really close relationship and so much love between them so it’s obvious where Tiny learned to be a stand by her man, ride or die kinda chic. She has proven that she is loyal and devoted and most of all in it for the long haul.

Also, Tiny knows her place. Even though T.I.  is a lot younger than her she never oversteps her boundaries. In the last episode when T.I. was going on and on about the OMG girl’s wardrobe she made the statement “You know I’m not gone do that” when T.I. said something to the effect of her getting mad and arguing with him. She gives him much respect as her husband, a father and the head of their household.

Tiny is also a good mother to not only her own children, but to T.I.’s children from past relationships as well. She doesn’t treat any of them any different and is very attentive as if they were her own. Considering the fact that she only had one child before she met T.I., I commend her for accepting all his extra baggage because Lord knows baby mama drama is no joke, even though they don’t seem to have those issues.

Everybody is too busy talking about how she looks, her body etc, but seriously there is nothing wrong with Tiny. She is a beautiful woman both inside and out and truthfully the only thing that matters is what T.I. sees in her. They make a beautiful couple, they are in love, happy and they make it work regardless of having a blended family.

Society is so focused on outer appearance and what they think beautiful is. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and we need to start focusing on what makes a person beautiful as a whole. Yes, when you first meet a person their outer appearance is the first thing you see, but if you all don’t start looking outside the box or what you see,  you just might bypass your soul mate.
