I was just catching up on the ‘Tia & Tamera‘ show the other day when I learned she was preparing to release her very own yoga DVDs and had no idea they had already been released. Since Tia’s such a health nut, I think this really suits her.
The new year is just around the corner and most people will be making their resolutions to lose weight and get in shape, and is right on time for Tia to release her yoga DVDs, Tia Mowry’s Core Yoga and Tia Mowry’s Calm Yoga.
According to Sister2Sister, Tia begin to love yoga after suffering a back injury:
“About three years ago, I actually injured my back, and I found that yoga really, really helped,” Tia said. “It’s hard, but fun at the same time. And I think that makes a great work out.”
Tia also credits yoga as a huge part in dropping a whopping 60 pounds after having her son Cree.
“After my pregnancy, I’m not afraid to say that I gained 60 pounds, so the first thing that I went to was yoga.”
For the Tia Mowry’s Core Yoga, she collaborated with yoga guru Tara Stiles to help her choreograph a yoga fitness program that will not only tighten up your core and tone your abs, but burn fat as well.
Tia Mowry’s Calm Yoga DVD is more for those who are looking to relax, relate, release and relieve stress.
“It’s something that I like to do maybe to start my day off with or to end my day with.”
I’m a huge fan of Yoga and Pilates and have recently started back incorporating them both into my daily workout and I just might have to cop these DVDs and see how they are. I found them both on Amazon for under $20 so that’s a steal.
