Things To Do In South Beach: Paniq Room Miami
Every time we take a trip, our mission is always to do something we’ve never done. While in Miami, my sister found something really fun for us to do called the Paniq Room Miami.
Since we were “winging” it in Miami, my sisters and I got on a prowl for some fun, inexpensive when my sister ran across Paniq Room on Groupon.
In case you have no idea what I’m talking about, Paniq Room is an escape room where they lock you in and you have 60 minutes to figure out all the clues to get out. We chose to do the Haunted Hospital where the scenario was we were apart of a research team trying to figure out what kind of virus was causing the deaths of patients in an abandoned hospital.
Peep the rules below before reading the rest of the story of our experience…
Before we got started, the moderator directed us to sign a waiver. Basically it was if you DIE your family can’t sue us. Then he directed us to two devices on the table in the lobby (pictured below) and told us if we figure those out, we’d earn a clue.
Chiiiiiillle, them damn things were like the rubix cube and we didn’t have the slightest clue. Needless to say we didn’t get a free clue either.
We weren’t allowed to take ANYTHING inside the paniq room. They made us lock our cell phones, purses, cameras, etc in a locker before proceeding and closed the door behind us. My sisters and I were going crazy trying to figure that stuff out and most of the times were thinking WAY too hard.
It was a really fun experience. We finally figured it out when time was almost out. Honestly, the guy was nice enough to really help us along the way and gave us a little more time so we could make it out. I’d love a chance to experience the other escape rooms they had because it was truly a fun time despite the fact that we almost killed each other and left with bruises. LOL!
If you’re ever in Miami and are looking for something fun to do, be sure to check out the Paniq Room and tell them we sent you!
