‘The Real’ Talk Show Set To Air On Two Major Networks

the-real-daytime-talk-show-castI don’t know about you all, but I was excited to find out that ‘The Real’ talk show was getting picked up in 2014. Although it didn’t air in my area, I enjoyed the full episodes and clips they posted daily on YouTube.

Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon are all headed back to our TV screens this upcoming Fall 2014 for their daytime talk show ‘The Real’ but they were not only picked up by Fox, but also will be airing on BET for a chance to get more viewers.

Although their summer debut viewers got off to a slow start, they managed to snag quite a bit of wide range of women from ages 18-54.

The Real brought viewers a unique combination of elements that were missing from daytime, a real, multi-cultural conversation about issues that women of all ages are talking about,” said Frank Cicha, SVP Programming at Fox TV Stations, “Five hosts for the price of one — score! Seriously, we’re all looking for younger adults and this program delivered big time.

‘The Real’ is set to air on 18 Fox networks in cities including New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Philadelphia just to name a few. I’m seriously keeping my fingers crossed that they will air here in Atlanta as well because I’m sure they got a large fan base from here. I know I was one of the ATLiens that was routing for them.

Congrats to the ladies and I can’t wait to see them return Fall 2014. Will you be watching ‘The Real’ when it returns???
