When I first read the headline over at one of my favorite blogs, I was surprised too. I opened that post up real fast because I just couldn’t believe it either. With all the drama, cursing and catfights Tami brought to the reality show, Basketball Wives, the last thing I thought she would thought to see her in was on a sitcom alongside Elise Neal.

Now I know we have some issues, some more than others, but Tami has been known to have anger problems so I’m not even sure how that’s going. At least she was getting some help while on the show, but I don’t know about this. I mean can she really act? Is reality TV even considered acting. Shrugs. Either way, it’s definitely paving the way for these women to pursue their dreams in acting, but we’ll see how this goes. I’m seriously considering submitting my reality show idea to VH1 and hopefully they bite so I can get the path to making my dreams come true as well.

Anywho! There had been some speculation about her staring in the TV One upcoming sitcom Belles and Tami Roman confirmed it with a message on her Facebook page:

“Keep a lookout 4new comedy on TVOne called BELLE. Starring Elise Neal, Ella Joyce and ME! God is good. Thank you TV1 execs, Ed Weinberger, Miguel Nunez Jr and Phaedra Harris 4 believing in me!”

Earlier this year TV One announced its upcoming series and Belles was one of them. The sitcom is supposed to be centered on an upscale soul food restaurant, but that’s about all the description that’s been given so far. According to BlackThespian.com, Tami created the series and Miguel Nunez, Jr. is producing it alongside the TV One execs mentioned in Tami’s Facebook message.
