Steve Harvey Cried During Last Stand Up Show Steve Harvey Breaks Down During Last Stand Up Comedy Show Thank Yall For Making My Dreams Come True.

A little while back while at a Family Feud taping here in Atlanta, Steve Harvey announced that he would be leaving stand up comedy.

Last Thursday, Steve Harvey performed his last stand-up show in Las Vegas after 27 years of making us laugh. We all remember his comedy routines in ‘The Original Kings of Comedy,’ ‘Still Trippin‘,’ ‘Don’t Trip… He Ain’t Through With Me Yet,’ as well as tons of features on the ‘Def Jam‘ series. Once the routine was over, they asked if he had anything to say to the crowd. Before he begin, he immediately broke down.

Here’s what he had to say:

“Thank y’all for making my dreams come true. You can’t be famous without people. [I] really, really been dreading this moment, man because I didn’t know what to say. I just wanna say ‘Thank You.’ God has given me a life far beyond anything I ever dreamed about. God is something else, man.”

“I want to thank Marjorie for skyrocketing my life. I wasn’t doing good until you came along, girl. I [surely] thank you.”

“Twenty-seven years is a long time to do something that you love to do. Bishop Jakes, T.D. Jakes told me — heard him in a sermon one time say — ‘”I would hate to die and never do the thing I was born to do.” Man, God let me do it. He let me do it. I’m not a perfect Christian, you dig, but my life has gotten to this point. Somebody tweeted me and said, ‘Your career is what you paid for, your calling is what you’re made for.’ God has positioned me just this way to be just like I am, to say what I say how I say it. I’m just a living witness that you can be an imperfect soldier and still be in the army fighting for God Almighty. Don’t you think you got to be perfect, ’cause I ain’t. Thank y’all for 27 years. I love you. Thank you so much.”

Although he has hung up the mic from comedy, Steve has tons of other things he’s into. He still has the Steve Harvey Morning Show, Family Feud and is currently working on his new daytime show. He’s definitely going to still have us laughing in his own way because comedy is definitely apart of his nature.
