Welp! I guess we better get ready for ‘Think Like A Man’ sequel because it’s on its way. According to LA Times, Screen Gems has already confirmed that part two is in the making.
Before the film even hit theaters, Will Packer was already screaming about there being a part two, but Screen Gems hadn’t confirmed it as of yet. They will be rehiring Keith Merryman and David A. Newman to write the script. The writing team, who also wrote “Friends With Benefits,” penned the original “Man” film.
No word on whether or not the entire cast will return for the sequel, but I’m sure almost everyone is hoping Kevin Hart will return because we all know he really made the movie. Think Like A Man broke the bank at box offices grossing $91 million its opening weekend, making it one of the most profitable comedies thus far this year. Like Tyler Perry films, Think Like A Man answered the question of whether or not a nearly all-black cast could break box office records. I guess they’re still scratching their heads about this one too.
I’m sure Steve Harvey and Will Packer are sitting somewhere smoking a big cigar celebrating not only the success of part one but now the sequel.
No release date has been confirmed yet. Will you be going to see the sequel?
