The wait is over and Porsha Stewart is finally a free woman.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta reality star was unfortunately forced to end her marriage to former NFLer Kordell Stewart after she found out he filed for divorce via blogs and social media.
Since then, Porsha has been letting the cat out the bag about the gory details of her strange marriage. All the control issues and mistreatment she suffered from the hands of her now ex-husband, Kordell.
During a recent interview with Vibe, Porsha dished on what life has been like after divorce and moving on. Since being a free woman, she has made some serious business moves as she launched her own hair line, Go Naked Hair, has been doing several interviews and getting her feet wet in the acting industry. She even went on her first date which was set up by none other than Steve Harvey.
Before her divorce was finalized, Porsha was set on keeping her last name Stewart, but has since gone back to her maiden name as Kordell pretty much demanded it in an effort to “restore the Stewart name and brand.”
Porsha previously stated she was keeping Kordell’s last name, which made Kordell very concerned about the damage it could cause,” said attorney Shiel Edlin.
However, she reconsidered and decided to restore her maiden name, Williams. Kordell now believes he can restore the Stewart name and brand, for which it has been known through many generations, one of character, integrity, honesty and truthfulness.
Porsha has since changed her Instagram name from @PorshaStewart to @Porsha4Real and seems to be excited about her new journey as a single woman again as she posted the picture below captioned:
