Actress Angelina Jolie underwent a double mastectomy to lower her chances of getting breast cancer.
After being tested by doctors, Angelina learned that she had a 87 percent chance at the risk of breast cancer and a 50 percent risk of ovarian cancer. Angelina lost her mother to ovarian cancer at the age of 56 and she didn’t want to carry that risk for her own children.
