I have been battling with my weight all my life. Two months ago I decided that I’m going to fight and win this battle.
When I stepped on the scale for the first time since May of this year, I was really disappointed and mad with myself. I was mad with myself for letting me gain all this weight. At first you think “oh it’s just 5 or 10lbs I can get that off” but then the pounds keep adding on and on and on and then before you know it you’re 100 or more pounds overweight.
Since the beginning of August, I have started back going to the gym regularly and even joined a fitness boot camp which I attend once a week. I haven’t really changed my eating habits that much, but I have been watching what I eat, the amount I intake and exactly what’s in the food I’m eating. I watch the calories, sodium and sugar. I’m not gone lie, I slip up sometimes, but the key is to keep it going. Don’t stop, don’t give up. I have to remind myself everyday that this weight didn’t happen overnight and therefore I won’t lose it overnight either.
