Actress Meagan Good made headlines when she first announced her engagement to her fiance’, DeVon Franklin who is an executive for Sony and a part time preacher. The two have remained celibate for a year because they are saving that special moment of intimacy for their wedding day.

Even though Meagan has always played the role of some what a video vixen, she has always been know to be a “good girl” in real life. I know a lot of people are probably thinking this is all a lie because they get reality and fiction confused but I can truly believe that this young lady is saving herself for marriage.

Meagan told Life & Style that she knew her fiance’ DeVon was the one because he was willing to wait:

“Because he was willing to be celibate with me for a year,” she says. “He loves God, more than I love God, so I don’t think there’s anything wrong [with him].”

In this day and time, I truly commend Meagan & her fiance’ DeVon for not letting the pressures of this world influence them to become intimate before marriage. This is the way it was meant to be according to the word of God and I’m really glad that she decided to make it known they were living their lives the way Christ intended.
