This year I decided to get back in shape. I joined the local gym and have been working out 4-5 times a week for the last month or so. I really enjoy working out, but the burning sensation I feel in my legs after working out is unbearable. After working out for only a few mins, my legs start to burn so bad it almost makes me want to stop, but I can’t so I just push though the pain. At first I thought maybe I was working out too hard or doing something wrong, then it dawned on me that it may just be my shoes. I’ve had my little comfy Reeboks for a couple of years so they are probably past worn out.
After asking a few ladies at the gym, I narrowed it down to my top 3 choices, Asics Sneakers, Nike Luna Glide, and Nike Shox Turbo 10. Since I’m a huge Nike fan, I’ll more than likely choose one of those. I really like the Nike Shox Turbo 10 because they seem to be made specifically for running. They have a really good cushioning for shock absorbance which will help save my knees from possibly being injured, they are really lightweight and they have a really cute pink pair that I like. Pink is my favorite color. The Nike Shox Turbo 10 also had really good customer reviews from customers who actually workout like I do so they’re at the very top of my list.
I have truly learned the importance of having a good pair of running shoes. Working out has really taught me a valuable lesson that my old comfy sneakers just won’t cut it. I’m getting me some shoes that not only look good, but will feel good during my workout. Now I can have a really good calorie burning workout without the burning legs.
