Magazine CovHER: Paris Jackson Harper’s Bazaar
Last time I seen Paris Jackson, she was sprinting through the airport trying to avoid paparazzi. Now she’s graced the cover of Harper’s Bazaar magazine.
The daughter of the late, great Michael Jackson is the cover girl for Harper’s Bazaar ‘Fashion For Every Age’ issue. Paris was only 11 years old when her father died eight years ago. She’s now 19 and on a different path.
Inside, Paris dishes on breaking out and doing her own thing, her father and much more.
Peep more pics and excerpts from the interview below:
On wanting to do her own thing:
I’ve always wanted to kind of break off and do my own thing, just ’cause I feel I enjoy independence very much.
On being the only girl growing up:
I wasn’t around a lot of other girls. When I was a kid, I was with my dad and my two brothers. Growing up, I was treated as the favorite because I was the only girl. I was the princess; I was perfect in my dad’s eyes.
On her dad, Michael Jackson:
All anyone wants to talk about is my father, and it makes me sad.
On the haters:
Who gives a fuck? You’re on their mind—how is that a bad thing? Doesn’t matter if they’re saying good or bad things about you. They’re thinking about you enough to write about you. You just can’t care.
I gotta admit I love her attitude about the haters. One thing about haters, you’re always on their mind.
