Why is it every time I see Larenz Tate I always get in a “Love Jones” kinda mood???
If you love “The Real” like we do, then you will be tuning in on Monday to watch the one and only Larenz Tate as he sits down and chops it up with the ladies and gives them the scoop on his upcoming NBC series Game of Silence, being star struck when he met president Barack Obama and how taking a pic with the FLOTUS was nerve-wrecking.
Larenz is set to star in new NBC series Game of Silence, which airs on April 12th and according to the synopsis, the show is about five best friends have a dark secret they thought was buried 25 years ago, but they soon discover that you can’t hide your past forever. From the executive producers of “CSI” and “Friday Night Lights” comes a gripping new drama about friendship, love, revenge and the moral dilemma of how far one will go in the pursuit of justice.
Get a snippet of the show before it airs on Monday, April 4th.
Jeannie Mai: Tell us about the show, ‘cause it looks exciting.
Larenz Tate: Uh… the show is a one hour drama about a group of friends who sort of reappear in each other’s lives after 25 years of being friends as kids.
Larenz: Um… there’s something… a secret that they sort of always harbored for a long time and that dark secret has now resurfaced. And they have to sort of right the wrong of their past. And so it is uh an incredible show and I’m happy that NBC is moving towards shows that feel like a cable kind of you know, drama, some real storytelling, some real grit behind it. And um I’m really excited about it.
