Kevin Hart Covers Ebony
Looks like Kevin Hart is becoming a mini sex symbol with his Ebony magazine cover. The Real Husband of Hollywood, comedian and newly wed for the second time around, just released his stand up What Now and has been named the highest paid comedian.
Inside the Ebony issue, Kevin dished on being a mogul, marriage and race in America.
Peep excerpts and more pics from the interview below:
On his new stand-up show What Now?:
“I spent $13.8 million on it myself,” he says of his latest stand-up concert film, Now What?, which will be in theaters October 14 and opens with a slick James Bondesque storyline, complete with shoot-outs and Halle Berry. Despite it being almost unheard of for an actor to spend that kind of cash on his own project, Hart says the reason was simple: He wants to own it all. “If you’re going to roll the dice, roll it on yourself,” he explains.
On not being totally satisfied with his success:
“I’m not a content guy. Even with all the achievements, it’s not enough because there’s so much more life to live, and there’s so much more to do and accomplish,” explains the entertainer. “I think the thing that honestly keeps me going is the fact that it’s out there for the taking. I don’t think people really understand that you get out of life what you put into it. The more blood, sweat and tears you have behind the passion, the more rewards you’ll see behind the work.”
