I’ve been on my health streak since last year and at any time I find out something new I share it with you all because I believe as women we need to learn to take better care of our bodies in every aspect. Sometimes we have a tendency to take care of everyone but the most important person and that’s us.

I recently learned about a Koren spa/wellness center JeJu Sauna which specializes in cleansing of the body, mind and soul. You will have the opportunity to enjoy saunas, body scrubs, massages and much more and it’s fun for the entire family. You can get healthy treatments around the clock because they are open 7 days a week 24 hours a day and the good part about it is once you’ve paid your admission, you can actually stay the full 24 hours. Plus, the extra services that you may want in addition to general admission to the saunas. Their prices are very affordable I might add.

My sisters and I wanted to get a special gift for our mom’s 50th birthday so we visited the spa before purchasing her a gift card for several services that she wanted to have done. Lord knows we weren’t prepared for what we experienced on the tour because we actually brought along my four-year-old niece and was covering her eyes the entire time. But, there is one part of the spa where you have to be COMPLETELY NUDE, yes, booty-butt-naked and they don’t allow any clothing in that area because of sanitary reasons. So, needless to say, we say lots of naked women running around while on the tour lol. You are allowed to wear clothes in the common area where they have the sauna, restaurant and a pool.

The spa is absolutely gorgeous on the inside as they had little dry and wet saunas set up all around the wellness center. They all serve different purposes as I will give a brief description later which will be beneath the pictures. The spa is safe for your entire family and you go anytime you want, daily even. I plan on going as often as possible because I think it will be really good for me as I’m on my weight loss journey and for health reasons overall. As you all know, Koreans live for a long time and the reason why is because they believe in detoxifying their bodies and leading healthy lives. I’m actually going back later this month for my baby sister’s birthday. I will be sure to give another review.

Charcoal room: removes toxins, increases blood circulation and stimulates sweat glands.

Inside the rock salt room: relieves stress & strengthens cardiovascular system.

Jade Room: increases metabolism, improves circulation, and relieves arthritis pain.

Baked clay room: red baked clay helps dilate peripheral blood vessels, bring relief to tight muscles, increases blood circulation, helps to eliminate waste products, and delivers rich blood oxygen to depleted muscles.
