It is so important to instill responsibility and a great work ethic  into our children.  Giving children chores is a great way to achieve this. Chores can be as simple as making the bed or doing the dishes. The actual chore isn’t really that important but what is important is that they are doing something to help around the house.  Some parents even reward their children with an allowance if they complete their chores. I think this is a great idea because it presents an opportunity for children to learn how to save their money as well. Killing two birds with one stone. I provided a list below of great chore ideas for your kids. If you never gave your kids chores before I advise to just pick an one age appropriate chore for now and then add on more as time goes on.
