When I first saw this Chanel‘s Hula Hoop bag my first thought was: “Where the hell is she going with that big ass bag?” I know when fashion hits the runway, it has a tendency to be a little bit drastic just for the sake of the show, but there is no way in the world I’d be walking around with a bag this big, even if it is cute.

Well, I guess I’m not the only one who had this thought because earlier this week, the fashion house Chanel made the news it they premiered the HUGE hula hoop bag during their Spring/Summer 2013 show. In case you’re wondering who would be crazy enough to walk around with this big ole bag , Designer Karl Lagerfeld broke it down and explained the reasoning behind the design:

“It’s for the beach. You need space for the beach towel. And then you can put it into the sand and hang things on it.”

So glad he cleared that up. I’d hate to see chicks walking around here catching severe cases of shoulder and back problems trying to stay with the trends. By the way, do y’all see those shades??? I got to have them seriously!
