The New Year is just around the corner and most people are already cooking up their resolutions, one being to lose weight.
A few years ago, I started going to pole dancing classes with my girlfriends just for girls nights and birthday parties, but have since grown to love pole fitness and am thinking about incorporating it into my regular workout routine beginning next year. Working out is no where near fun so I’m always looking for ways to make my workout not feel so much like a workout.
Pole fitness classes have certainly given me a new found respect for skrippers because it takes a lot of upper body strength to hold yourself up and do all those flips and tricks on that little pole. #WERK
I’m always browsing EventBrite looking for events to go to and happen to run across one for Pole Dance 411 which is right here in Atlanta in my old neck of the woods. They are having an eight week class session starting in January for only $199. That’s a damn good deal. I just might have to jump on that for real, for real.
Last year for my sister’s birthday, she had a pole dancing class and the owner told me that I should come in for regular classes. I’m gone have to hit her up and see what kind of specials she has because she’s closer to where I live and I like to support my sisters if you know what I mean.
