As many of you know, over the weekend Chad Johnson was arrested for an alleged domestic violence dispute he had with his new wife, Evelyn Lozada. Now the police have released the 911 call from their dispute which occurred on August 11.
In the phone call, you hear the Johnson’s neighbor calmly speak with police dispatch for about four and a half minutes alerting them of the “little domestic dispute” that occurred 30 minutes prior to the 911 call. He also suggests that it might have been “a little misunderstanding” and that he was “looking for her.”
During the call, the neighbor asks that the police be dispatched “quietly” due to the fact that he is a high-profile person.
“I don’t want the police to come with their lights on, but I just want them to come until everybody calms down,” the neighbor said.
The neighbor then describes Lozada’s injuries, saying, “She has a nice cut on the forehead that I believe is going to need stitches.”
“He’s a very high profile person so we’d like to keep this as quiet as possible,” he said. “If you could let the police know, because we don’t need the news here.”
Well of course none of this was taken into consideration because the incident hit the news later that day. I’m really not understanding why they act like being a celebrity gives them a pass to keep things quiet. A domestic dispute is the same no matter what your status is in this world.
