Looks like everybody is trying to ditch Shaunie O’Neal and her lil show. First, Tami Roman talks leaving Basketball Wives, now Evelyn is headed out too.
While she was there, of course the subject of her role on Basketball Wives came up and Evelyn made it known that she isn’t sure about returning for another season, but she is open to the opportunity to having her own spin-off show without a panel of women.
We all know that before the head-butting incident occurred, Evelyn and her now ex-husband Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson were both given their own show, but it was cancelled due to the domestic violence case. Now, Evelyn says she’s in a new place in her life and is definitely looking forward to possibly landing her own show.
On moving on from Basketball Wives:
I signed on to do five seasons and this is our fifth. I don’t really see me doing a sixth season.
On getting her own spin-off show:
I’m open to doing a spin-off, just not with a cast of women. I’m in a different space, I have so much other things going on. I’ve had my own show before unfortunately it was cancelled due to the incident, but I know I can carry my own show. I’ve pretty much carried this one. So, yes I would do my own show because I would have creative control.
