I am a firm believe in multiple streams of income. So, in addition to blogging, I have several other side businesses as well. One of the businesses that I’m absolutely in love with right now is being a beauty consultant for Motives for Lala. One of the reasons I chose this business is not only because it’s a possibility to make six figures within a year, but because I love makeup. I love looking and feeling beautiful all the time and love making other women do the same. When I was presented with this opportunity, I jumped right on it and I’ve been in love ever since.

Over the weekend, my sister and I decided to show people how makeup really enhances your beauty. Just a few simple steps and you’ll be amazed at just how different you’ll look. I know a lot of black women have issues with makeup because we feel it will make us look fake or whatever, but I think it’s more so because we don’t know how to apply it. We’re afraid to try it because we don’t know where to even start. I’m no expert, but I do know that practice makes perfect and so I’ve been doing this for a while now.

As you all see pictured above, I simply just filled in my sister’s eyebrow, added a little neutral shadow, liner and mascara. What a difference? Nothing makes your face stand out more than having your eyes popping.  I created a look with Motives Cosmetics.

What I used:

Motives Essential Brow Kit

Motives Eyebrow Pencil

Motives Eye Shadow Base

Motives Pressed Eye Shadow – Chocolight

Motives Pressed Eye Shadow – Creme Fresh

Motives Pressed Eye Shadow – Bedroom Eyes

Motives Lustrafy High Definition Mascara
