On this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi Burruss confronts her mom about her feelings on why she doesn’t like her fiancee.
Kandi as we know, love her mom and respects her a great deal, but she can’t seem to understand why her mom is not giving her, her blessing for her to marry her fiancee, Todd Tucker. Protective momma Joyce tells her daughter that she don’t think that he is right for her. Joyce believes that Todd has tip-toed out on Kandi and is only around to use her and tatke what she has. Kandi’s mom is also worried that if they get married and things don’t go right or if something happens to the singer, that Todd may move her out of Kandi’s former home that she had gifted to Joyce. The Real Housewives mom expressed that her daughter Riley don’t the housewives fiancee either, she just put up with him.
The multi business woman expressed to her mom that her fiancee is a great guy and that she just don’t want her to marry anyone, that no one is good enough for her. Kandi explains that guys who have lots of money only treat women bad and do whatever to them. Despite all the confusion and dysfunction between the Burruss, Tucker family, Kandi will remain engaged to Todd and they will have a wedding, but they may reduce it to a smaller setting since Kandi’s mother may not attend.
Kandi tells ABC News Radio that
“I can tell you when it started. Last year when Wendy Williams was commenting on our show every week and she was like, ‘[Tucker’s] an opportunist. I think he’s an opportunist.’ Next thing I know, my momma comes back and is like, ‘Wendy said that he was an opportunist.'”
