Chris Brown Covers Notion
Chris Brown covers Notion magazine and LAWD I swear I’ve been loving me some Chris Brown since I heard his song ‘Kiss Kiss‘. He’s all grown up now and REAL grown up since he found out for sure and revealed that he has a daughter Royalty Brown who we’ve all grown to adore and love just as much as we do him.
Chris Breezy graced the cover of Notion magazine for their 71st issue in a Coke sweatshirt and there’s another with him showing his chest and baby powder sprinkled on him. I guess he’s trying to send some kind of message since folks were accusing him of being a “coke head” not too long ago, but he’s since cleaned his act up. Although he may have broken Karrueche Tran’s heart, I can say it’s so nice to see him mature and turn into a great father as he has right before our very eyes.
Inside the issue, Chris Brown dishes on his daughter Royalty, fame and being in the public eye.
Excerpts and more pics below:
On his latest album ‘Royalty‘:
“You can’t be stagnant and you cannot continue to do the same things and expect a different outcome. So for me, it’s a reflections album. I love being a father, you know, and at the same time, there were certain wrongs and certain rights that I did do. I might’ve hurt some people along the way.”
On making mistakes:
“People make mistakes, I’ve made mistakes, I’ve judged people who made mistakes, and they judge me back. The best part about it is me having to learn. I think I had a great time like … <he corrects himself> I didn’t have a great time… at all, but it was a great lesson for me to learn. I thank God he had something bigger for me to do. The mindset I was in when I was younger, it was full of arrogance like ‘yeah I’m an asshole like, so what fuck it, I got money like’ and you know, at the end of the day everybody knows right from wrong.”
On fame and being in the public eye:
“I mean fame isn’t acquired by the amount of people who like you. Fame is acquired by the amount of people’s lives you’ve changed. So at the end of the day I can’t say that my music is that deep right now, I can’t physically change the world. But I made a positive step you know?”
