Cable or Satellite

The hubby has been getting on me about getting our cable service back because it was one of the luxuries I decided to let go when we were looking to cut costs. Now I’m not much of a tv person, but my hubby has to have his television when he comes home off the road. He loves to watch all the old sitcoms such as, Martin, The Cosby Show and My Wife and Kids. Not to mention he loves to catch up on some of the reality shows they have airing every hour on the hour. So now we’re trying to decide whether or not we want to have regular cable or satellite. You all know me, I’m looking for the best deals, who has the best specials and who’s offering me more for my money.

After looking at some regular cable services, I wasn’t satisfied with their rates, so I opted to look into satellite service. I came across a really good deal with Direct Star TV. Not only would I get more channels for your money, but also have the option to get free installation for up to four rooms, three months free of premium channels, free hd for life and free hd dvr. Now who can beat that? We had to choose satellite over cable. There wasn’t a deal out here that could beat what Direct Star TV was offering. Not only will I  make my hubby happy, but will still be saving money in the process.

Just when I was beginning to think all cable services were overrated and overpriced, Direct Star TV  proved me wrong.

  1. I’m thinking of ditching the satellite and going for an antenna. We can watch so much free on the internet and now with a newborn…I don’t have a lot of time for me TV. Just toddler TV!

    Over from MBC.

Hello from MBC :) Can’t be easy to be a truck driver’s wife! I’d miss my hubby so much too!
