Every time I see a picture or even hear Whitney Houston’s name I still find it had to believe that she’s gone. As a fan of Whitney’s of many years, it just seems so surreal and I can’t even imagine how her only daughter Bobbi Kristina feels.
It’s been six months since Whitney’s unfortunate early departure, but BK seems to be holding up pretty well and definitely is going to continue to carry on her mother’s legacy. She recently penned a letter to her mother for Ebony.com saying how she always said she everything was for everyone except her and that she was very proud of her for finishing her final project, Sparkle.
Read the letter below:
Mom, I know that making the movie Sparkle meant everything to you.
You always told me and Nicholas and the family,“This is for you, this is for us, this is for the family. This is for you Bobbi Kris.” You told me that all the time. I’m so proud that you were able to finish making Sparkle before things happened. You did it for us. Mom, you had such a great time making the movie. You glowed throughout…you just glowed.
My mother being so happy was an absolutely beautiful thing for me to watch. I’m very proud of you.
Although short and sweet, it was very heartfelt and touching. I’m so glad to see that BK is holding it all together. Our hearts and prayers will always be with her as her mother’s spirit will forever live inside her!
