“Black-Ish” Stars Tracee Ellis Ross & Anthony Anderson Cover JET Magazine

tracee-ellis-ross-and-anthony-anderson-cover-jet-magazineFormer Girlfriends actress Tracee Ellis Ross and comedian Anthony Anderson both cover Jet magazine’s September issue.

The two are promoting their new sitcom Black-ish which is a new show about a successful black man Andre ‘Dre’ Johnson has a great job, a beautiful wife, Rainbow, four kids, and a colonial home in the ‘burbs.

According to the synopsis:

Andre ‘Dr’ Johnson (Anthony Anderson) has a great job, a beautiful wife, Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross), four kids and a colonial home in the ‘burbs.  But has success brought too much assimilation for this black family? With a little help from his dad (Laurence Fishburne), Dre sets out to establish a sense of cultural identity for his family that honors their past while embracing the future.

black-ish stars Anthony Anderson as Dre, Tracee Ellis Ross as Rainbow, Yara Shahidi as Zoey, Marcus Scribner as Andre Jr., Miles Brown as Jack, Marsai Martin as Diane and Laurence Fishburne as Pops.

I’m honestly surprised to see Laurence Fishburne playing on a sitcom, but Tracee Ellis Ross was recently in another sitcom with Malcolm Jamal-Warner Reed Between The Lines, but I guess that show didn’t last too long. Black-ish seems a bit far fetched for a name of a sitcom especially following black sitcoms like Martin, Good Times, Fresh Prince, and The Cosbys just to name a few.

Black-ish is set to air Wednesdays on ABC at 9:30/8:30CT.

Anywho, check out the trailer below:

  1. My developer is trying to convince me to move to .net from PHP.

I have always disliked the idea because of the expenses.
But he’s tryiong none the less. I’ve been using Movable-type on numerous
websites for about a year and am anxious about switching to another platform.
I have heard excellent things about blogengine.net.
Is there a way I can import all my wordpress content into it?
Any kind of help would be really appreciated!
