Yes, it’s that time again… Time for the BET Awards. If you missed it, don’t worry they’re only gone air it 9,999,999 more times before this month is over lol. Anyway, of course the BET Awards was okay this year but as always there is ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS, the good, the bad and the ugly of fashion on the red carpet. To be honest this year was a combination of the good, bad and just TERRIBLE! #WardrobeFailed this year but hey they’re celebrities and they pay lots of money for these people to send them out on the red carpet looking a mess and a half, they’re rich and have money to blow lol. Honestly, I could’ve done a much better job with some of these chics and they need to just FIRE their stylist and wardrobe person because some things just shouldn’t be worn on the red carpet, wait shouldn’t be worn ANYWHERE lol.

Of course I have to bring out my DIVA OF THE MONTH, Ms. Jill Scott. As always, she was looking beautiful and curvy. The weight loss has just really enhanced her curves, tatas and her beautiful face. Can you tell I love me some Jill Scott??? She is simply gorgeous and I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her. I think I said that already lol. They could’ve done a little better with her hair but overall she looked great.

We all love Meagan Good. She looked fabulous in her all black dress and  I am so loving that hair cut on her. She looks so much more grown up from that little girl on “Eve’s Bayou” when she first hit the scene. Well the first time I remember seeing her on the big screen.

This is Kelly Rowland’s year so step out the way Beyonce’. Kelly looking Pretty in Pink and that new hit single “Motivation” is off the chain remaining at number one for over a month straight. I’m so loving her dress and the hair, just everything. It’s Kelly’s time to shine.

Lola Monroe looking fantabulous in her dress and that hair cut is so classy, sassy! LOVE IT!

KeKe Palmer always looks cute to me and now she’s all grown up. I’m loving her dress but those shoes look like they may have been hurting her feet lol. Overall she’s such a pretty girl and that dress was HAUTE!

Joyful Drake looks oh so gorgeous in all white and her bronze tan just really sets it off. Can’t believe she graced the red carpet looking so beautiful and full of fun after that DREADFUL show she’s on that clogged the airtime that could’ve been used for “The Game.” I guess she has a better wardrobe person than an agent lol. Either way she looks gorgeous.

I’m loving this color on Kerry Washington. She’s one of my favorite actresses that I feel doesn’t get as much recognition as she should. She’s simply gorgeous!

Tracee Ellis Ross!!! What more can I say??? She DID THAT! Rocked that dress like BOW! Love it! She’s a beaute!

Tika Sumpter looks really cute in her little dress. Not sure what’s going on with it but it seemed to work for her lol.

Shaun Robinson looked alright with her one shoulder dress. They could’ve done better with her hair and shoes if you ask me.

Alright Mrs. Basketball Wife Tami Roman. I love that dress and bag but that hair is a complete fail. I think it’s time to get rid of the braids honey and wear some extensions, lace fronts or something. Anything but those braids.

My Darling Nicki Minaj, now this is my girl so I’m not gone ever say anything bad about her. It’s like if I can’t say anything nice I won’t say it at all kinda situation. I love me some Nicki. I think the dress is really cute and I’m proud of her for wearing something other than orange or pink hair. The overall outfit is cute but those shoes just don’t do anything for me.

Now we come to the first wardrobe FAIL. Laila Ali sweetheart you looked like your were going to meet your girlfriends for brunch or something. I’m really? Couldn’t they have put you in something that looks a little more like you were going to be strolling down the red carpet. #WardrobeFail

This is a really cute pic of Mary J. and Nicki Minaj but I’m sorry Mary the bang and ponytail is not cute. Not to mention that dress was just all wrong for her shape and nice figure. Please do better next year. I loved your performance though.

Did Tearria Mari just leave Majic City or what? I’m not feeling this outfit at all. #WardrobeFail

Here is another actress I don’t feel gets enough recognition and this dress is definitely not an attention getter either. I don’t know who thought this was cute but they need to kill themselves. I’m just saying.

I love me some Alicia Keys but ever since she had her baby she hasn’t been herself. I love the shoes but this outfit is DREADFUL. So not for Ms. Keys not to mention it looks like she did her hair right before she stepped on the red carpet.

Eve, Eve, EVE… What’s with the ponytail? I don’t even have anything else to say honestly. Just lost for words lol.

Ms. Keri Baby… I really expected more from her. She’s from Decatur where it’s greater. Apparently she needs a greater wardrobe stylist because this look is so BLAH but her hair is beautiful as usual.

Well that’s my thought on the red carpet divas for BET Awards 2011. Some good, some bad and some just like REALLY????? Ummmmm YEAH just TERRIBLE! Hope they get it together next year. If not I’m always looking for a side hustle so feel free to contact me lol.
