Corsets have been around for centuries helping women keep that hour glass figure, but these things can not only be a pain to put on but a pain period. When I was selling body magic, it was the first time I got a somewhat taste of just what extreme us women will go to in order to get that coke bottle shape. That thing was squeezing my mid section so tight I thought it was going to crack a rib or something. But it gave me such a slimming look I didn’t even think about how much pressure it was applying to my stomach and rib cage after a while. It’s also great for back support and posture. Nowadays, they are worn by many women and actually look a lot sexier. I think I’m going to start back wearing mine to help me finish losing this weight.
Your face is the first thing people see so you have to keep it looking right from your hair to your eyebrows and makeup. One thing I can’t stand is to see a chic with either too thick, bushy eyebrows or the absolute worse, a unibrow. There are several ways to keep your eyebrows on point and the most painful I’ve come across is threading. Although they look sharp when you’re done, it can be very painful. The first time I had it done, I thought I was going to look in the mirror and my face would be bleeding. To my surprise it wasn’t and my brows looked the best they ever had, not to mention it lasts much longer than having them waxed. If you’re like me and have sensitive skin, waxing is just not a good idea.
Removing any unwanted hair can be painful whether it’s your eyebrows, top lip, legs, or armpits, but NOTHING compares to a brazilian wax. OMG! The first time I had one I thought she had ripped off some skin. The end result was beautiful but the process was pure pain.
Speaking of waxing, check out the video below of Sherri Shepherd getting her first brazilian wax… Too funny!
